University of Kigali (UoK)

The University of Kigali is one of the leading private higher institutions of learning in Rwanda. It is a fully Accredited Chartered University by the Government of the Republic of Rwanda. It started its operations in October 2013 upon receiving a definitive license to operate as a private University.

The University of Kigali’s main campus is located in Kacyiru, next to Kigali Heights, about 3 Kms from Kigali City Centre.

Due to its rapid expansion and in order to take services to the local populace, UoK opened a new campus in Musanze District, Northern Province in 2015, housed in the Prestigious RSSB Building.

The University started operations with 649 students in October 2013 and has experienced remarkable growth in enrolment to over 7500 students in the Undergraduate, Masters, and Post Graduate Diploma in Education programs.
